These terms cover your use of Solo Grind (the “app”), at sologrind.name and in the Android app. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Who runs this
Solo Grind is operated by Dzenis Livnjak, an individual based in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is an independent hobby project, not a registered company. Contact: dzenis_livnjak@yahoo.com.
What Solo Grind is
Solo Grind turns real-world habits and tasks into a role-playing game: you write your own quests, complete them, and earn XP, levels, stats, gear, pets, and cosmetics. Everything it awards is fictional and exists only inside the app.
It is free
Solo Grind is completely free. There are no purchases, subscriptions, paid tiers, or real-money transactions anywhere in the app.
Refunds. Because nothing is ever sold, there is nothing to refund and no refund policy applies. Essence and all other currencies are earned in-game, have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged for money, and can be reset or adjusted as the game is balanced. If this ever changes, these terms will be updated first and paid features will carry their own clearly stated refund terms.
Your account
You must be at least 13 to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Use a display name that is not offensive and does not impersonate someone else — names may be changed or removed if they break that.
One account per person. Do not attempt to manipulate progression, leaderboards, or raid contributions by automated means, by tampering with requests, or by exploiting bugs. Report bugs instead — that is genuinely more useful.
Your content
Quest titles, journal entries, and your display name remain yours. You grant only the permission needed to store and display that content back to you (and, for your display name, to other players on leaderboards) so the app can function. Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, or infringing.

Solo Grind is a motivational game, not a coach, therapist, doctor, or trainer. It makes no claim to improve health, fitness, productivity, or mental wellbeing, and nothing in it is medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for the quests you set yourself and for deciding whether they are safe and appropriate for you. Consult a qualified professional before starting any new exercise, diet, or health routine.
Availability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind. It is maintained by one person in their spare time: it may go down, lose data, change substantially, or be discontinued, with or without notice. Please do not treat it as the only record of anything important to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including lost progress, lost data, or any outcome of quests you set yourself. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Because the app is free, any liability that does apply is limited accordingly.
Third-party content
Solo Grind uses openly licensed artwork from several creators, each credited on the Credits page along with its licence. It also links to a community Discord server, which is governed by Discord's own terms, not these.
Ending your account
You can stop using Solo Grind whenever you like, reset your progress from the Profile page, or request full deletion by emailing dzenis_livnjak@yahoo.com. Accounts may be suspended or removed for breaking these terms, for abuse, or where required by law.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change and material updates will be announced in the app. They are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the mandatory protections of your own country's law.
