Solo Grind is a free, hobby-run productivity game. This policy explains exactly what it stores about you, why, and how to get it removed. There is no advertising, no data selling, and no tracking for marketing.
Who is responsible
Solo Grind is operated by Dzenis Livnjak, an individual based in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, acting as the data controller. For anything in this policy, contact dzenis_livnjak@yahoo.com.
What is collected
Account details. Your email address and a securely hashed password (handled by Supabase Auth — the plain password is never stored or visible). If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and profile name instead.
Profile details you enter. A display name, your age, and your gender. Age is used to enforce the 13+ minimum; gender selects a visual theme and a default character sprite. Neither is shared, sold, or used for advertising.
Gameplay data. The quests you create and complete, XP, level, stats, streaks, talents, inventory, pets, cosmetics, Essence, dungeon progress, quiz results, and raid contributions. This is the game state — without it there is no saved progress.
Anything you type in. Quest titles and journal entries are stored as written. They are private to your account, so please avoid putting sensitive personal information in them.
Technical data. Aggregate, cookie-free analytics from Vercel (page views and load performance). Standard server logs, including IP address, are processed by the hosting and database providers for security and reliability.
There is no location tracking, no contacts or photo access, no microphone or camera access, and no advertising identifiers.
Why, and on what legal basis
Where the GDPR or comparable law applies: account and gameplay data are processed to perform the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)); age, security logging, rate limiting, and aggregate analytics rest on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in running a safe, working service; optional push notifications rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time in your device settings.
Who it is shared with
Only the providers needed to run the app, each acting as a processor under their own terms:
- Supabase — authentication, database, account and gameplay storage.
- Vercel — hosting, content delivery, and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. It may be disclosed if genuinely required by law.
These providers operate servers outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, including in the EU and the United States, so your data may be transferred and stored internationally.
Public information
Some details are visible to other players by design: your display name, level, and rank appear on leaderboards. Your full profile — stats, equipped gear, pets, dungeon depth — is visible to others only while your profile is set to public. You can make it private at any time in Settings, and your name and level will still appear on leaderboards.
How long it is kept
Account and gameplay data are kept while your account exists. If you ask for deletion, the account and its data are removed, normally within 30 days. Provider backups and server logs may persist for a short period afterwards before rotating out.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or restriction of processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Much of this is self-service: Settings lets you change your display name, edit or delete quests, and toggle profile visibility, and Profile has a full account reset.
For anything else — including full account deletion — email dzenis_livnjak@yahoo.com. There is no charge, and you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Solo Grind is not intended for anyone under 13, and accounts cannot be created below that age. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email dzenis_livnjak@yahoo.com and it will be deleted promptly.
Cookies
Solo Grind uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies — see the Cookie Policy for the full detail.
Security
Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth and never stored in readable form. Data is served over HTTPS, and database access is restricted per account so one player cannot read another's data. No system is perfectly secure, and this is a hobby project maintained by one person — please use a password you do not reuse elsewhere.
Android app
The Android app requests network access to load your data, and notification permission only if you enable reminders. It collects nothing beyond what the website does.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will be updated and a notice will appear in the app. Continuing to use Solo Grind after a change means accepting the updated policy.
